The Language

The present language of Scotland descends from the languages: Germanic and Celtic.

There are different groups of the Celtic Language: Goidelic, Brythonic and Pictish.

Goidelic

This language comes from Ireland.

 

Brythonic

This language didn't survive to the present day. This language has spoken in the southern of Scotland

 

Pictish

It has something meanly with Goidelic and Brythonic

 

Germanic

Two different languages are spoken in the present Scotland. It has a dialect of the Engish language.

 

Scots language

The scots language is a variaton of  of the earlier nothern and southern England.
